Under dark sky..

The wind blows cool, full of water in the air.

Driving through the foothills tonight – dark sky engulfed my little CRV alone the country highway.

The small tempest on its way reminds of my future. Trying to maximize efficiency and stuff in fact after fact for hour after hour.  The heavens are opening with information that needs to be neatly placed in my tired head and spirit. My hour PANCE review podcast begins at 6:45 am… droning in the background of my drive to a tiny office. Time invested… investing.

In proper of theme of this journal ” embracing the ordinary”  A hot shower, water beating across my tired face- never ceases to impress me. The water, it washes away the day and leaves one feeling baptized in warmth. May I never grow cold, to the warm gift of hot water.

May the tempest of the next 10 months roll, may the studying- working- sweat roll down my face as my academic will soon draw to a close. May my calling become apparent, on dark shadowy Tuesdays- may we realize how immensely blessed we are- even in the middle of the storm.

About RootsSinkDeep

Words to keyboard, not quite the same as pen to paper, but for now in a season of flurry and tiny chaos, this will do. Though I long for the feel of graphite under hand I am grateful for fingers that work the same. May you join me as I seek to find joy in the ordinary?
